Earring Size Selection Guide

- Thick Rod
0.8mm: For ear holes made by gun piercing or one-time piercing tools, choose 0.8mm rod thickness.
Sisters who are unsure about the size of their ear holes are also recommended to choose 0.8mm rod thickness.
1.0mm: For regular ear piercings, choose a 1.0mm rod size. If you want to expand from an 0.8mm to a 1.0mm ear piercing, you can directly select a 1.0mm rod size.
1.2mm: For professional piercing shops, when choosing a 1.2mm rod for piercing the earlobe, a 1.0mm small ear hole expansion can be selected with a 1.2mm rod. - Rod length
- Earlobe: Standard 6-8mm. For thick earlobes, an option of 8-10mm is available. For initial piercing, a length of 1-2mm from the end can be chosen, leaving room for swelling.
- Ear cartilage: Initial insertion size is 8-10mm (to prevent swelling and ensure proper fit), and it will be changed to 6-8mm after healing.
- Ear Canal Shield: Initially 8mm in diameter, after healing it becomes 6-7mm (to prevent friction against the ear canal)
- Cochlea: Initial diameter 10-12mm (with a large range of swelling), after healing 8-10mm
General principle: For the initial insertion, choose a length of 1-2mm longer. After healing, adjust the length as needed. The material should be of medical grade. It is recommended to consult a professional piercing technician.
